There should be a word for this

A beautiful night of celebrating the power of the written word to shape civilizations and stir men’s souls: first a reading of modern poetry and prose, then performances of Beowulf in the original (accompanied by the pounding of feet and, of all things, a didgeridoo), and finally dancing to klezmer with a Torah scroll in my arms to celebrate the end and beginning of another yearly cycle of reading the Hebrew Bible.
